Modern Foreign Languages A Level Workshop – A Level Paper 1

13 July @ 12:00 - 15:30

This workshop will focus on A Level Paper 1 and preparing Year 12s to get organised and ready for their MFL A Level course.

In our MFL A Level workshops, we are aiming to share good practice and allow schools that are new to teaching A Level the opportunity to learn and collaborate with others, while additionally providing CPD and opportunities for discussion for those of us that have taught A Level for a while.

The third and final MFL A Level workshop of the year will focus on Paper 1 (Listening, Reading and Writing) and preparing Year 12s to get organised and ready for their MFL A Level course.

We will cover the basics of the topics themselves and of the exam specification for Paper 1, and go into more detail about how to get the best out of our students by sharing tips and discussing with fellow MFL A Level teachers. We will also be discussing target language use in the classroom and how best to get your Year 12s ready for their A Level course!

This workshop will be collaborative in style, so will provide ample opportunity to work together and discuss experiences of preparing students for Paper 1, and to discuss best practice. We will also discuss shared examples and use this as an excellent opportunity to network with other teachers currently teaching A Level languages!

This event is free to attend and takes place in person at the Inspiration Teaching Hub on Hall Road, Norwich on Thursday 13th July, 12-3:30pm.
