The Right to Write with Simon Hunt

4 July @ 18:00 - 19:15

Focus on helping children to write and remove barriers to learning by using accessibility tools and teaching strategies

This session will take place using a speed networking format meaning you’ll get to spend time with Simon Hunt, and the solution providers, so we can really focus in on your needs and ensure you leave the session with strategies and solutions you can use in your schools.

Simon’s time with you will focus on helping children to write and removing barriers to learning by using accessibility tools and teaching strategies.

Accessibility tools and teaching strategies, such as assistive technology, alternate formats, and flexible learning environments, can be employed to remove barriers to learning and provide students with opportunities to learn in ways that suit them best.

You’ll also spend time with solutions that you can use in your classroom giving you a chance to ask questions, see the solution in action and provide your feedback to help them improve their offering.

Once you complete the 75-minute session and post event feedback survey your ticket fee of £5 will be fully refunded.

What is NeXworking?

Sourcing the most effective resources, products and services, within your budget, is always a challenge. School leaders spend an average of 1.5 days per week researching, emailing and phoning solutions to issues they are having. That doesn’t even account for the time spent in CPD, traveling to trade shows and meeting providers.

What if we could do all of that research for you, use data to align solutions to your problems and then present them to you in a free, no-obligation, short, sharp, effective 90 min speed learning style CPD session? This session is currently scheduled to take place physically however we can also deliver virtually if there are still restrictions in place.

What’s involved?

1. Secure your ticket on Eventbrite – this will provide us with all of the information we need to ensure you’re meeting solutions to your specific issues.

2. At the event you must complete each of the six 13 minute workshops and also complete the short 30 second feedback form on the six solutions you meet.

3. Once your survey is complete, and you have finished the session, then we’ll refund your ticket. We’ll also share a comprehensive report of the session detailing your scores and feedback enabling you to access exclusive procurement discounts from providers.
