SENsible SENCO | A Safe Place for SENCOs
SEN Professionals who attend our course will learn to screen for executive function differences and design learning support which meets the complex needs of children in their care.
Lynn reviews statistics (both her own and official research) on current SENCO wellbeing issues. Her training then focuses on how SENCOs can and must look after themselves (to thrive not just survive) and how schools and headteachers can best support them. She also discusses what we need to do at a national level to aid SENCO retention (taking a collective stance).
With an election looming, the future of SENCOs and school SEN provisions stands at a critical juncture. This webinar explores potential changes and the impact of the green paper on SEN practices.
